Zombi originally on the WII U comes to the ps4 on the free game month on the psn , although the graphics are slightly different from the wii u the game still mange's to keep its its dark creep unnerving atmosphere as you travel around the streets & corridor in the darkness.
One thing about this game is that if you dont watch what you doing & keep you eyes on the surrounding area you can get certain zombie coming from no-where before you know it your a zombie hamburger.
This game doesn't not hold your hand in anyway as you continue on your mission collecting things & get item to progress through your journey to complete the game. It take alot to kill some zombies as it take more that one hit to take these zombies down , which is why its a pretty hardcore game to play as the zombie come at you , your panic mode can set in when 3 other zombie come at you mistake can be made.
if your getting over-whelmed its some time best to just quickly back off because 5 zombie at the same time can get you killed in this game with out question because once one grabs you , you haven't got the serum that the doctor give you the zombie its chowing down on you its game over.
With the first two levels of the game chicken & standard are pretty straight forward run through but dont go think its that easy because it still presents are challenge to get through the end it your not careful of what your doing.
Unlike Survival mode if you die you are resurrect as a new person every time you die , but the only draw back with this is that instead of carry on the mission . you have to go & retrieve the backpack of the last character that you died with , So you have to go to the last location where you died which is OK but can be frustrating at times , but you have to be careful because depend on the way you died the last character could be up walking around like a zombie can be hard to put down.
This is where this game can be seriously frustrating as there is no point in saving the game because you only get one chance at complete the game , in survival mode you really have to keep you wits about you has there is no second chance.
Once you die in survival mode its doesn't matter how far you get in the game its game over you have to start from the begin of the game as there is no save point on which to continue from , this is the challenge in the game if you want the platinum trophy.
I've played a few zombie games, but this is very creepy & there are parts in this game that will scary the hell out of you to the point you drop the control out of your hand, as it did me with some unexpected moments lol.
For a game to do this make this one of the best zombie game out , which is a shame because it didn't sale so well on the Wii u , which is understandable because with the control's the Wii u has its not really a game for those types of controls , its more of a Xbox or play station controls.
All in all this is a worth it game to play if you looking for trophy because the first two stages are easy trophy's but the challenge is in survival mode which may take a few try's, with the zombies in the game they are pretty scary special when you in the dark place all you can see its what you torch is shinning on.
Pros:
Story is pretty cool reveals a pretty good twist in the game.
Good weapon pick ups to help you get through.
The game atmosphere is very creepy & frightening in places
The zombie make you skin crawl & put you off you game making harder not to panic.
The challenge is not over challenging but challenge enough.
Con:
Survival mode has no save point or return with new character , so if you die on the last mission its game over & have to start from the begin of the game which can be seriously frustrating.
Game rating : 7 out of 10 for a zombie game.
