Judge by the tile you think this game can't be that bad well, well sadly it is, Assassin creed origin was simple you level up higher so you can take on the stronger enemy if you wanted a challenge you set the game in a higher difficulty.
Sadly here with Odyssey, its biggest flaw is optimization Ive had a good few hours playing this game getting used to the combat style which without a shield it can be tricky, but you can learn to adapt if you parry before they strike, but here the problem on easy mode as you levelling up it playing like it on it highest difficulty when you level up the enemy level to the same level you are which make the whole put of having on easy pointless because you playing a game on the hard mode even though its on easy.
This is where I find a problem with this because in Assassin creed origin when you level up the enemy didn't level up with you on easy mode unless you were playing on the hardest difficulty, which on this Assassin creed odyssey game on easy I'm finding that once you level up the Enemy level up with you making it twice as hard to beat them when its on an Easy difficulty.
This is showing bad optimization on this game that should be fixed by Ubisoft, on easy mode, the enemy should stay at the level they are at and not level up with you as you level up. this enemy levelling up with you should before the hard or highest difficulty in the game not on easy mode, it made the game hard to play and pointless if you just want to play an easy game before doing the hard mode, which you might as well be doing on easy because it's playing like it on hard.
Yes, it a reskin of Origin in Greek theme, but this isn't the problem with the game its the optimisation of the game that the problem which means this game was rushed out and not look over before launch.
With the game being this way I have the right mine to take this game and get a refund because this is just unplayable when your choice to play in easy mode it acting like it on its highest difficulty.
Not to mention the game has crashed 4 times on the PlayStation and a mate of mine has experienced these crashes on the Xbox where the frame rate would drop to the point the screen freezes and crashes.
For this alone, I give this game a 5 out of 10
